i could live in the sea amongst the beauty of corals and tonnes of colorful fishes unlike Ariel who rather give up her homeland for her love but who could blame her in the name of love...

and maybe if i were a character in Disney's little mermaid, I'd trade places with Ariel so that i could marry one of the few handsome princes and have my little sweet wedding under the sea....

but wait ... aren't cameras forbidden underwater ? drag....

but there's got to be a way for me to take underwater wedding pictures!!!!

awhile ago, i've been raving about this ~~new~~ not-so-new product... specifically mask...

i've this thing for masks... esp ones where you can only use for once, because it's so easy to use and carry around.

it's produced in taiwan. many said its efficiency is proven wor...

when you're travelling you can't bring your whole tube of mask esp if it exceeds the hand-carry airport requirements (nono for above 100ml)

use this one piece 'instant' mask... put on your face, leave it for 15 mins- 20 mins, massage the remaining essence, and you're off to go =)

I've tried the purifying acne mask... and now, i'm gonna try green tea RELAXING mask, to see how relaxing it is....

VERDICT:

it's relaxing. lotsa essence just like the previous one i tried. so much you can slather it for 3 times.
this mask actually smells like green tea. the name promises the quality. no cheat.

after using this mask, i can feel that my skin complexion improved. fresher feeling. cleaner. more purified.

i'm infamous for being on hiatus most of the times. read back my prev posts and you'll know that i'm a lazy blogger. i wouldn't even consider myself a blogger what more an avid blogger.

this is not your typical ABC pasta, whereby you drop your pastas into boiling hot soup and wait till it's soft and fully immersed with vitamins and all the goodness you can get...
that's your mama's style of cooking ...

p/s : this book is awesome. darn worth the price for rm40. so many pics to illustrate the steps. also, they provide step-by-step pics too... awesome can? max credits to the authors etc etc.. ♥ but i didn't refer to this book whilst i attempted my own recipe =)

my abc123 is dried up. i deliberately lessen the content of water. it is still my typical tomato-based ingredient. but instead of boiling chunks of it... i used tomato sauce.

coincidentally, i ran out of tomatoes at home. to save time and since i'm a bugger for staying at home, i used whatever i can find from the magic box ...

as you can see from my previous posts, i do not type much of words as compared to other bloggers.
i hate too many words lingering on the screen, esp when i got bored of reading too much from studies apart from mags and novels...

hence, i explain briefly and swiftly and i simply let my pictures do the talking...

just like these steps...

i cooked these first. A combination of garlic, button mushrooms, potato, egg (1) and meat (finely sliced/diced whatever-style-you-may-like)

see the garlic? that crispy bits of brown thingy? i had those fried under low heat. once your wok is heated up (i used wok, i love woks because food came out of it tasting and smelling good, but you need consistency and fine attention when handling this piece of steel), fry the garlic consistently under low heat. make sure you don't burn those things off. you NEED to control your fire.

darn i forgot to label these b4 i uploaded it... nvm

these are what i manage to scavenge through the fridge ... these cheeses are the cheapest in store. not much of strong italian flavour if you fancy those. but it'll pass through as decent cheeses... very milky as a matter of fact..

milk as my base for sauce. tomato sauce coz i couldn't get any puree at the moment.

pasta.. i cooked this as my second method. leave it aside. don't forget to mix in butter and a little salt will do. the reason i do not make the pasta 1st is because i don't want it left aside too long, for it will stick together and the texture will not be smooth anymore.

the goodness from cow's udder. my base. will leave it to simmer under low heat. then only i shall add in all the cheese.

after cheese(s), i added in tomato sauce (or your puree, which is thicker and flavourful) .. only puree is able to give you a darker red of tomato cream sauce. if you're using from the bottle like me, the redness is prolly negligible. looked like cream sauce no? =)

when you're done stirring it with consistent, pour in your pasta and mix it with the sauce. you may stir it under low heat for awhile but i suggest you do it with your fire off. you don't want your sauce to thicken too much under the heat.

the outcome... this is the texture i wanted for my pasta.thick and creamy. blast of flavour and taste. i done it well this time and it will remain like this i hope forever.

when taste, it's really not bad. i wouldn't praise myself but seriously this thing is more than just edible.

verdict: --> the cream is soooo creamy. rich and thick. very milky in taste coupled with minor hint of tomato goodness. yes, i taste the sauce. if i were to leave the pasta as it is for a few more minutes to 'marinate' it, it'll taste even better =)

i'm so happy of the outcome... so much of fun and experience + happiness you gained from home-cooked meals. me likes

kimchi soup. hot and spicy (rm 8.9) sourish and lil saltish but it won't kill your buds... this style comes with noodles, and fried rice as well... wanna try the fried rice in my upcoming visit. *winks*

in addition, we ordered chicken drumstick fillet ( rm5.9) , corn (rm 2.5) and more bacon ( rm 5.9) but i supposed it all looked about the same (the meat, la cerna, etc.) and marinated in special black sauce.

so i got lazy and quickly indulge in my food....

nevertheless i taken a pic of matcha shake (rm 6.9) *i love everything green tea*, i find this slightly overpriced as the ice blended is not so gao.. bit ~~waterish~~ diluted and the stinging bitter sensation of a typical green tea is not prominent at all.

bf ordered the sour plum ice blended. this looks promising...

tastes sweet but not that kind of sweet that'll kill you with diabetes. more like fruity sweetness although the taste of sour plum is mild. you can feel it yet it won't bite you.

not that it's a new launching of this coffee branding but i find it to be less commercialized and fehmouz if compared to Starbucks.

the fact is, i find San Franc's coffee to be stronger in aroma and taste. take the Latte for instance. Starbucks is much milkier and 'lighter' for your taste buds.

unless if you can't stand bitter coffee and would much prefer milky stuff than you might find your preference in SB.

although SB is milder, yet the texture and density of liquid for SF is thicker. means, they give you more beans than what you paid for, if not worth for what you have paid.

i still couldn't come up with reasons why peeps would still prefer SB anytime (perhaps branding) in M'sia. but definitely , SF is better not to mention its lower pricing with more value for money in terms of its quality control and standards for kopi (coffee) .

In KLCC, those ang mohs (foreigners) will be flooding SFs but Msians are seen crowding around SB. only in the US, i supposed their SB coffees taste better than those in Msia. Luckily, the foreigners help support KLCC branch, if not sure chap lap ( closed down)

too many SB outlets too few SFs... i wish there were more but i doubt so peeps in M'sia would even know how to appreciate

very strong raw tasting fish. if you hate your mouth to stink, then you're not up for this stinking raw fish (but it's REALLY delicious in your mouth)

not that i've been into nail art recently.
i have been admiring most of the times , yet too skeptical to try it myself

1) pricey
2) time consuming
3) lack of ideas? hmm...
4) most importantly, how many crystals do you want me to splurge on ?

yeah, to be pretty you gotta spend alot
to be pretty you gotta pamper yourself, make time for yourself
and once again, spend more ...

to me, nail art / colour not only can beautify your hands/ nails, it can oso divert attention if you've a bad hair day/ makeup-less/ dressed so plain you're even plainer than jane wtf

to me, nail art covers up and hides MY flaws: chipping nails wtf

so, if you're broke / poor/ frugal and wanted so despoly to conceal your flaws ...

try making options for yourself...

Guide to looking good the frugal way:

1) head on over to budget shops, we have good ones in Malaysia that sells cheap, CHEAP crystals. ( not swaroski, but it still blings!) e.g.: Daiso (everything is rm 5!!) , s&m

RM 4.5 only (np: RM 9 oso cheap de, still 50% off)

2) buy basic colours for nail polish... it goes a loooong way. b4 adding more to your collection of course. basics never run outta style ... e.g: white, clear, black ...

3) start being creative !

the tools (the tweezers i got for rm 5 from Daiso, not sure if anywhere else is cheaper than that la)

i used the sponge technique...

like the splish splash of paints

1) paint on clear polish
2) blue polish on top of sponge , then SPONGE it!
3) red on top of blue
4) start sticking with crystals !!

p.s: you may use base coat to stick your crystals, the glue will adhere better but it'll be too much of adherence that you may need a glue remover to clean off the residues after your crysts are off...

for short term peace of mind, I seek from the living beings confined within the 4 walls in my home...

my family of course and my dogsssss....

he can be a pest at times, stealing foods, destroying furnitures...

but he has a heart, and knows how to appreciate things in life... e.g: celebrating christmas with the world...

this particular dance has a story behind it. women during ancient times are planting vegetables / plants.... this action is called loving-the-earth with more greenery (ok, i know it's kinda blur but it's a dance and we're moving around, sorry it wasn't from my cam)

apart from dancing, we had wonderful bonding sessions of friendship. hence, the outing in Sungai Gabai in Hulu Langat, long way up to the waterfalls, but it was cooling and beautiful...and most importantly, we helped each other to make our ways up to our destination!!~

see, all things beautiful are not only found abroad but also, in our own motherland

and nature is and will be unforgiving (aftermaths) to those who hurt its Mother (Nature)

not only dance cultivates friendship, it also diversifies our culture and paints a colourful world

human formation only by Soka Gakkai Malaysia, a non-government organization in efforts to promote peace, education and culture.

this performance was grandly conducted during the nations' birthday (Merdeka ~!!~) in the presence of our PM
only with cooperation and teamwork, this human formation is possible. akin to humans' efforts in preserving the earth, it all starts with the efforts of each individual...

so tell me how am i supposed to not love the world for what it has given me.... to build my potential holistically, to learn to love, to learn to learn and to learn to give...

whoever is the copycat /sisterhood of one another, IT IS the other version of a more exorbitant sushi zanmai..

whateveryoucalledthis: it's raw tuna (which is pretty tasteless unlike salmon)

this is the star of all dishes... i like bigbig juicy roes .. pops in your mouth and the juices from these eggs filled your taste-buds with much goodness in it

macro scene half screwed up... too closed up without much focus.. i failed max T______T

now this is gorgeous... it looks gorrrgeousss.... not that it tastes that amazingly like how i described it looks.... the soft shell crab ain't crispy... it is , well, soffftttt!!~
but since it looked so pretty , i pretend it's half as edible as it looks... (in my cam that is >< )

the portion for small is REALLY small..... i was quite taken aback because...
i was expecting the size to be akin to zanmai's... apparently, not...

so, i didn't take many pics. cause the food is simple, nothing.much.special. and we didn't order much stuff so there was nothing to rave about.

plus, the price was higher than zanmai's.
for instance, a cuppa green tea here is rm 2 whilst you can get it @ zanmai for rm 1 only. not that it's a big difference. but sum it all up, okay that was quite a difference lor...

another setback was that the menu didn't offer much an array of choices.

esp DRINKS.... where's my ice blended matcha? no, you do not have it ~!!!

oh nvm, i guess i will make a return to sushi tei,
if i'm that famished and almost starved to bones... or other silly shops are closed and this is my last resort so yeah, i'm shall make a comeback... if not, i'll just settle my arse in one of the few good jap rest-stops (punned) ...

p/s:
btw, i noticed a few of good shops initially taste great. after it became so-called fehmuz the quality deteriorates into quite a drastic change. why can't they ever maintain the quality?

i supposed the prices of food are hiked up and it's either they need to substitute the good ingredients to lower grade ones with lower/ equal pricing OR increase the price of the menu by maintaining their standards.... wtf....

service super fast.. cause i bet they must have cooked in bulk b4 serving us. but it's served hot so i don't mind .... this is def the place to be if you're famished.

taste: i ordered green curry ... unlike those i've tried, this one is thick in gravy and full of flavors. i esp like the not-so-big green beans in it... soft and sweet

tried a lil from my friend's .... hers was not bad at all.. not spicy despite the reddish colour.... if you can't tahan pedas like my friend you can try this...

basically everything in the menu is RM 8.9 unless it is stated otherwise.

the set lunch ONLY available from 12pm - 3 pm !!

this place is quite packed during lunch hour with office ppl flowing in... and i heard from a friend of mine, some would travel from other places just to savour the dishes here (yao mou?)

there's NO set dinner... so if you were to dine in after 3 pm... you'd find yourself staring at the prices in the menu... not really if you're a big thai fan... the prices roughly akin to those in the sushi bar like sushi tei ?

i wouldn't pay that much to eat thai food frankly... not my cuppa coffee...

every year, the cny is pretty much the same. nothing uncommon. in fact, we killed time in a garden. not just any garden you find outdoor or your backyard, unattended. in fact this one is so crowded with peeps that i recommend you not to dine here if you're famished.

cause one thing's for sure. the service sucks. super slow. esp for drinks. not efficient. i don't see it as a customer friendly place. definitely not a place to feed the starved. call it a place of leisure where you're so lazy/free you got nothing to do but bum around... so here's the place of heaven to you all out there who are willing to unearth the truth of the Garden

also, if you'd like a place to photograph nothing but greenery/ fountain/ white white things... and more greenery... this is the closest you'd wished for ...

pineapple sorbet... was actually very nice ... refreshing max only @ RM 9.9... worth every drip of saliva... slurp..

price is reasonable, only service sucks

i don't believe in superstitions but mama said you must ... cause you'll never know..

I've been hoping ever (since nail art was introduced a decade ago or so?)... that my nails will be friggin strong and I could never break / chip it, neither could you.

I wished for it to grow damn long and I could scratch peeps / poke bad guys in the eye till they bleed/ open up plastic packages by never breaking it.

I have very weak nails. so weak that it grew halfway (not even half) through and it goes crack T-T
those nail care stuff you get from manicure/ pedicure shop???...

it ain't no cure. those stuffs work at some extent to prevent further damage and not break toooooo easily...
somehow, i think the potent potion lies somewhere in my diet... supposed I'm lack of zinc ( i think zinc super power is related to nails' strength, no? ) i should increase my intake in it.
well, there isn't total cure to this dysfunctional (if there's just ONE cure, lemme know, will you) but only prevention of getting it split easily.

thanks to papa mama, I inherit the genes of nail fragility ...

in jaya one is regular (in spanish means so-so)

to me, it sucks due to the service. they weren't treating us (me and darl bf) right. our dishes were superbly late. food was alright. the tempuras were pretty good.but my tori-katsu-whatever did not make it to my taste bud. they forgot my order. i think i waited approx for 1 hr ? fml T-T i ended up eating from my bf's plate ..

don't feel like blogging too much about this place. too many dissatisfaction.. although they paiseh and discounted us 10% after my bf lodged a complaint (he's so man, man haha)... 10% only le... still, better than none. sigh... dah lah expensive... service's bad.

and I'm living with one right now. not my roomie but my housemate.

when romance is in the air and every couple is expressing their loves like no-one's- biz© where red, red roses became a must haves at the moment and couple tees are cliches to add.

V-day became a pun when 2-become-1 and their love are reunited, so much of reunion that everybody's sharing the same 'special' day that it became un-special.

to couple who doesn't celeb; main reasoning to them would be everyday's a valentine's day.. and this statement causes bo-syok-ness amongst valentine enthusiast...

that day becomes too commercialized and restaurants/ cafes are taking advantage to charge those peeps who are willing to fork out that extras *show offs, tsk

to you, I sound like a pro-anti V.. actually, I'm not. I'm just neutral and I do not demand this special day to celebrated.. cause I do not appreciate to be at places swarmed with love wannabes showing off their other halves. We're happy in our comfort zones and we understand the expression of love, notwithstanding the pressure to "must celebrate that V-day"

I'm very the fickle minded. I've no patience. I like to see all things pretty yet plain, sometimes simple. hence, from all things pretty (maybe complicated at times) i turned minimalist. probably due to age catching up, I tend to be more subtle and settle down for simpler things in life , lmao.

How it rocks? --> just like the name suggests,the "tablet" is very portable and a space-minimalist; very similar to notebooks (minus the keypad, lid and weight!)

Simply, it works totally like an iPhone. just that it's bigger (but so flat) to be a lappy companion. and now we have an "iLappy™"! talk about intelligence.

I'm planning to get Nikon S620 .. best priced for its optimum, desired (of mine)features.

so far the only cam which i like best (of pic qualities) is Nikon...

I'm hoping that it'll drop further by the time I'm forking my $ out... so need this before my holiday trip... and my dad's been asking where i placed HIS Panasonic Lumix (don't know which model but the 7mp one) ... hadn't a chance to use.. bad pics taken that eventually i rather not bring it along as my burden... the latest tough, orange Lumix it's not bad though (RM 1500), was it F70 (something?) i don't know what's with all the camera coding. so far, i'm eyeing on this sweet....

those 3months of gruelling, blood-shot adrenaline rush, which I do not appreciate.

1st of all, the school's canteen isn't bad at all. except that the fries are tad too pricey. others are great but aren't too great after 3 months of everyday consumption.

2nd-ly, the staff room happens to be a place for gossips, except that the casts for 'gossip girls' roles are...

-the audition-

-cast #1 (reject)-
reason: her voice is too loud on screen and indeed a pain-in-the-***!! what do you mean ass.. i meant ear(s)

-cast #2 (failed before she auditions)
reason: the crew failed to record her act 'cause it was too hideous. hence, the shaky outcome.

3rd-ly, my mentor and the person-in-charge for the whole of noon session were superbly..... evil... so evil I'm lost of words. the act of slavery on us is beyond description. we're salary-less (free labour, even maids get paid) and we're under their mercy... and they left us with tonnes of work in desperation. too bad we failed to get hold of their pics. unfortunately, we couldn't produce a documentary on them.. if not, they'll be the next 'Unbelievable: Chapter 2' without censorship when exposed.

last but not least, our supervisor was a sweet, sweet old ~~nanny~~ lady.she didn't give us our grades, what more ran away from us before she could even allocate marks with us... she promised.... =( not good. *worries*

she's a stray.not just a stray but the one with heart and intelligence. she learns without a master, obeys humbly and look after us as if we're her family although she isn't obliged to.after all she's a stray.i will remember the time when she walked us in the dark in order to protect us like an angel. she's so angelic.she is...
but, she was gone for good. all the other strays were gone for good. all were captured brutally by the municipal council. i just hope she doesn't need to suffer so much when her life is taken away, by force.

personally, i'ma call person. ironically, i sms-ed more than i called. in fact, calls are cheaper if compared to smses cause you wouldn't need to send more than one text messages to get your message across.

we'll see the point by carrying out a teeny observation. it's so practical and close-to-heart, you wouldn't believe it...

a lil bit of intro about exhibit A. let's just call exhibit A as A. she's addicted to calls. like really 24/7. you don't need to know where her calls are coming from. It's a no brainer guess. 2 ways communication, meaning calls to and fro from the other side. every time on msn, if no reply/response/answer. don't bother nudging. call queen is doing her business.
