Pho Hoa @ e-Curve
Vietnamese food for dinner
sometimes, you had too much of outside food you don't know how to decide for meals...
then again, you're so bored of homecooked food that you wanna break , so you head out to god-knows-where in the quest for food...
as usual, Malaysians can be quite indecisive when it comes to food because we had loads of choices >> Japanese, Chinese, Malay, Indian, Mamak (Malay-Indian) , Vietnamese, and now Indonesian food has even hit our shores... grrrr.... no wonder Malaysians are well-fed ...
food hunt begins 30 mins ago...
30 mins later.... settled down at this place for a try...
frankly, i'm no fan for Vietnamese food. no idea what's it like or how to eat it T___T
so, we muka tembok... (thick-skinned) and went to question that poor dude...

colourful wall mural... enticing your appetite to demand for more...
do you know if a place is brightly painted, it's done so for a purpose to trigger one's psychological effect in order for them to eat more in a happier mood .... must be true lor... since when fine dining is done in a brightly lit place ????
digressing...
the Vietnamese loves their raw tauge... --sprouts-- with their dishes....
i hate raw tauge... but i tried...
and
.
.
.
it doesn't taste THAT BAD !!!!
in fact, those sprouty annoying vege blends with their dishes very well indeed... me surprised !!!!~~
so pandai!!

everything inside a bowl... (steak, flanks, briskets, tendons, ...etc etc) (RM 18.55 for Large)
verdict: just lotsa meat... in generous amount. *burps...

beef stew : very thick gravy. can be eaten with rice, noodle or bread. me likey... (RM 13.95 for Regular)

top right: sugar cane prawn (RM 7.95)
bottom right : fried roll (RM 3.95)
OK, the Vietnamese has different sauces for different dishes.... and each sauce compliments the dishes --perfectly... i donno how to describe... but you know like pink never goes with black those sorta thing ??? and is always best suited with white ?

i love that red bottle of chili.... this chilli is not your average chili sauce in the bottle. i think they made it... spicy... but it won't kill those with low-tolerance... nais~

my favs : Avocado Nata Cream *yumz (RM 7.95)

this is reallllyyyy good.... the best one i'd had !! amongst others .... i love this the most...

Viet's fehmouz dripping coffee.... must try ~

right: coffee with milk (hot) (RM 5.95)

coffee with milk and ICE (price: ditto)
we ate till we're so bloated and can hardly walk... bad for health, good indulgence, great satisfaction *thumbs up
finally home sweet home for an unhealthy good night's rest ~baibai // 99

windy... hence, distorted bangs... chopped it off just for this trip. ngek ngek
you know what the old folks' used to say that do not celeb anything b4 you have achieved that thing ?
i think this jinx had befallen on me T_____________T
i can't really say it loud now but if all things go well than i shall share my bad encounters and most importantly, how i got over it .... *chants hard*
just foreshadowing what is coming up next in part 2, er, dua, two, dos...
besides, by now, i still have yet to receive the rest of the photos from all my friends.
can't wait... because i was too lazy to use my cam despite how much i bragged about the photos taken... *self pride-fml *

btw, langkawi eateries are pretty pricey... being a local we know how much are the rates for food & beverages, if they are considered exorbitant. but if you're a genius.. and travel savvy you can earn more than you lose, esp in terms of food =)

Vanilla @ Kajang
cafe and cakes haven ...

price for cakes at RM 6.5
tad pricey for the size if compared to Secret Recipe but it's worth the try ...
they have various choices of hot drinks and even sandwiches!!! yumz....
i haven't tried other flavours but currently i'm craving for the shop's speciality --> Vanilla Cake

heavenly good

lookie at the .. the... the ... layers!!! thick thick richie rich layers of vanilla...
if you love vanilla this is a must-try cake... if you don't ... just try it anyways, it won't kill you... really it's yummy =)
btw, it's located @ the heart of Kajang town, Selangor.
opposite of McDonald's.... there's only one McD in Kajang town...
Vanilla bakery caters for full-sized cakes (for your occasions <3)...
regarding delivery. don't think they have one =P
but if you're really a cake lover or foodie enthusiasts,
come on down ~
p/s: just a 40 mins drive (depending on your speed) to Kajang. still closer than your trip down to Ipoh for your bowl of hor fun...
